Love Island 2021: Lucinda Strafford snogs Aaron Francis after calling off Danny Bibby romance

Things are hotting up on Love Island, after Lucinda Strafford snogged Aaron Francis after a dramatic day in the villa.
The singletons enjoyed a smooch by the fire after an eventful episode saw Lucinda end the love island with Danny Bibby, which had caused drama over recent days.
Aaron and Danny had been competing for Lucinda’s attention since Danny’s arrival, with Danny coupled up with Lucinda.
However, things got steamy during Monday night’s challenge – Snog, Marry, Pie – which saw underlying tensions rise to the surface.
After feeling Lucinda hadn’t spoken honestly to him about her feelings, Danny decided that instead of a kiss he would instead give Lucinda a pie to the face.
When it was Aaron’s turn, he kissed Lucinda – and she reciprocated later in the game.

After the challenge, Danny and Lucinda had a frank discussion about the day’s events, deciding that it was best if they stayed friends.
Danny even had an analogy for Lucinda, calling her ‘a matt black Lamborghini that I want to drive. I’ve got the key but it doesn’t work.’
After they resolved the issue, Lucinda wasted little time in heading to the fire with Aaron and soon they were sharing a romantic kiss.
Have we witnessed the beginning of a new romance on Love Island? Only time will tell.

At least for now, it looks like things have resolved themselves after things threatened to get heated between Danny and Aaron.
Danny was left fuming in scenes that aired on Sunday after Aaron tried to kiss Lucinda as he sat just a few metres away.
Aaron caught up with Lucinda moments after the recoupling, which saw Sharon Gaffka dumped, in an attempt to woo her as she was picked to be Danny’s partner.

Now, at least, it looks like they’ll be kissing in plain sight of all the islanders for the time being.
The same episode also saw Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran enjoy a wild night in the Hideaway, in some of the steamiest scenes yet in the series.
Love Island continues on Tuesday at 9pm on ITV.
