Toby Aromolaran is set to confront Hugo Hammond in the latest episode of Love Island over the cutting speech he made about Chloe Burrows, telling his fellow islander that what he did was ‘s**t’.
On Thursday’s episode of ITV dating series, Hugo was the last boy to pick which girl he wanted to couple up with during the recoupling ceremony, the choice being between Chloe and newcomer Georgie Townend.
Hugo began his speech with some kind words about Chloe, before blasting Toby for the way he switched from being romantically linked with Chloe to pursuing new contestant Abigail Rawlings.
Hugo said that in his opinion, Chloe didn’t ‘deserve to be treated how she has been’, adding that in his view, ‘a lot of this test stuff is complete bulls**t’.
After appearing rattled by what Hugo said in front of everyone in the villa, tonight Tony will tell Hugo to his face how disappointed he was to hear him voice his opinions in that way.
Before their heated exchange, the islanders gather to raise a toast to Georgie, as Lucinda Strafford says: ‘Here’s to Georgia – the biggest breath of fresh air in here!’

‘And to finding out two-faced mugs!’ Toby adds.
In the Beach Hut, Hugo says that he’s not going to take back what he said, saying that he ‘fully meant it’.
However, he adds that hopefully he’ll be able to ‘smooth things over’ with Toby in private.
When the two guys eventually have their one-on-one, Toby expresses how ‘shocked’ he was over the shock speech.

‘That’s not cool bro. I am shocked, that is s**t from you,’ he says.
‘I’ve asked you your opinions and I am not angry about your opinions. Your opinion is completely valid. The fact is the way you went about it.’
Hugo, on the other hand, is still convinced that he and Toby can patch things up, replying: ‘I still consider you family and I hope that we can get past this.’
Will Toby be able to forgive Hugo despite how angry he currently feels?

On the other hand, could the love triangle between Toby, Abigail and Chloe continue to unfold considering Chloe was saved from being dumped?
Or will Chloe seek solace in her close friend Hugo, who she’s now been coupled up with?
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and is available to watch on ITV Hub.
