The Real Reason Kurt Angle Never Said ‘No’ to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon
WWE Hall of Famer and Olympic Gold medalist Kurt Angle never backed down from a challenge. Whatever wacky spots or storylines WWE made him do, he gave it his best. Maybe this is the reason why Kurt Angle is one of the most over and successful wrestlers in history.

In a recent episode of “The Kurt Angle Show“, a fan via Conrad Thompson asked Angle if he turned down any creative ideas put in front of him by WWE officials. Angle declared that he never did such a thing because he was crazy enough to do anything to make Vince proud. He said,
“I never turned down anything creative. I always said yes, I was always crazy enough to do it. So you know, they would tell me to cut a promo, I would do it. They’d tell me to do something in a match, I would do it. But I’ve always been about making my father figure proud, Vince.
So I never said no to Vince. I mean even when I got traded to Raw the one time and Batista got hurt and I had to go back to SmackDown. I was only on Raw for a month, I was like, ‘Vince I just got here like you want to take me back to SmackDown?’. He [Vince] said, ‘We need you, man. We need you in the spot’ and I said okay. I’m a team player. I’ll do it. So being a team player is probably the reason why.”
Kurt Angle had incredible chemistry with all
There are very few wrestlers in the world who could gel with anyone and everyone. Former World Heavyweight Champion had a notable period when he teamed up with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. The duo was insanely over with the fans and their back stage antics were hilarious, to say the least.
Angle’s determination to work any spot, capped with this ability to work with anyone, made him the Hall of Famer he is today. An absolute gem!
