New photos hot off the set from the Sex and the City revival series And Just Like That in New York have revealed an exciting peek at some of the younger generation from the show, now all grown up.
In the 11 years since the movie sequel Sex and the City 2, while some things may have stayed the same, such as Chris Noth’s highly anticipated return as Mr Big, other have changed, including Kim Cattrall’s decision not to return as Samantha, leaving the sequel up to trio Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie), Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte).
However, the one thing truly guaranteed to emphasise just how quickly time passes is the apparent reveal of Charlotte’s two daughters, now being played by young women.
In the 2004 series finale, Charlotte and her husband Harry (Evan Handler) adopted a baby girl from China, Lily, before having a biological daughter, Rose, in the 2008 film.
Actresses playing the grown-up version of the characters’ now teenage daughters were seen filming alongside a stylishly turned out Kristin and Evan outside the Lyceum Theatre in the city on Saturday.
As the older actress likely playing Lily beamed alongside Kristin, their matching floral dresses seemed to give the game away as mother and daughter.

Evan Handler was also filming alongside Kristin and the two actresses thought to be their characters’ daughters, as well as Mario Cantone (Picture: GC Images)

Meanwhile the younger actress, who is likely playing the early-teen Rose, seems to be more of a rebel character, with a T-shirt over her smart dress and a woolly hat on her head.
More: Sarah Jessica Parker
Sarah Jessica Parker was also spotted filming scenes on Saturday as Carrie, alongside Willie Garson as her friend Stanford Blatch and Mario Cantone as his husband Anthony Marentino, who appeared to be having a heated quarrel.
And Just Like That will comprise of 10 half-hour episodes, following the lives of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate their beloved New York City once again while now in their 50s.
