Former Big Brother star Imogen Thomas tries on sexiest Valentine’s Day lingerie on the High Street

GIVING your knicker drawer a refresh is essential as Valentine’s Day approaches.

And while it’s going to be cold outside, these lingerie sets will keep things smoking hot in the bedroom.

Black underwear is on the way out, with 45 per cent of us after colourful lingerie, according to fashion search platform Lyst. But how do they really fit and feel?

Big Brother’s Imogen Thomas, who is a 34DD, has tried out some sets, rating each out of ten.

This red set from Curvy Kate was Imogen’s clear favourite thanks to its detailed design

IMOGEN SAYS: “I loved this set on me. It’s super sexy, an amazing red and it pulls me in all the right places.

“I love the detail of the design too with the matching cross-over on the chest and hips, it shows off my curves. I can’t wait to wear it again.” 

Rating: 10/10

The size of the bra and see-through material let this orange and pink set down

IMOGEN SAYS: “I wore a medium and the bottoms were fine, but the bra was way too small for me.

“The bra is also see-through, which is OK for Valentine’s night, I suppose. But the quality wasn’t great.”

Rating: 4/10

Boux Avenue’s blue set scored an impressive eight out of ten

IMOGEN SAYS: “I love the colour blue, the padded bra gave me amazing cleavage. The pants were also good, and true to size. I would definitely wear them again.”

Rating: 8/10

Imogen says this set ‘could do with being all sheer or all lace, not just floral’

IMOGEN SAYS: “This was a pretty set although I don’t like the high-rise pants.

“It’s cute, but it’s not really sexy, it could do with being all sheer or all lace, not just floral.”

Rating: 7/10

This set only scored a five as ‘it’s totally see-through’

IMOGEN SAYS: “The colour of this set is fabulous, but I didn’t like the style.

“My breasts kept popping out – it simply wasn’t a good fit on me. And it’s totally see-through too!”

Rating: 5/10
