Paris Hilton is set to turn up the heat with her old pal Kim Kardashian in a new Netflix series as the socialite strives to learn her way around the kitchen.
When one thinks about the lives that Paris and Kim lead, you would imagine that many things in their lives are handed to them on a silver platter.
In Paris’ new show Cooking with Paris, she’ll be the one serving up the dishes as she takes on the challenge of figuring out new recipes, using ingredients she’s never come across before and getting to grips with unfamiliar kitchen appliances.
In the trailer for the series, which was inspired by Paris’ viral YouTube video, Paris and Kim – who used to work as Paris’ assistant back in the day – sit next to each other as they sample a meal, Kim’s eyes widening with glee as she appears to enjoy the dish that they’re eating.
However, after a few moments of chewing, the reality star realises that it might not be as tasty as she initially thought.
As Paris nods at her, most likely happy that her friend is enjoying the fruits of her labour, Kim then says: ‘Wait, I spoke too soon.’ Harsh Kim, harsh.

In the trailer, it’s apparent that being in the kitchen is not Paris’ typical environment, as she ends up getting feathers from her outfit ‘in everything’ and burning the ‘diamonds’ off of a spatula. As you do.
Let’s face it – we’re not expecting Paris to wind up being a Michelin star-level chef by the end of the series.
But entertainment is something we know she can deliver in spades, especially if it’s anything at all like The Simple Life.

In addition to Kim, other stars who are going to be making guest appearances on Cooking with Paris include Nikki Glaser, Demi Lovato, Saweetie, Lele Pons, Kathy Hilton and Nicky Hilton.
Speaking of kitchen appliances, this week Paris, 40, denied that she had a bun in the oven following rumours that she and her fiancé Carter Reum, 40, were preparing to welcome their first child together.

Paris emphasised that she is ‘not pregnant’, saying that she ‘waiting till after the wedding’.
‘My dress is being made right now so I want to make sure it looks gorgeous and fits perfectly so definitely waiting for that part,’ the DJ said, adding that she ‘can’t wait to have children in 2022’.
Cooking with Paris will be available to watch on Netflix from August 4.
