Racehorse owned by James Bond star Dame Judi Dench and Mystic Meg a big market mover… but finishes fourth
PUNTERS were predicting a big run for a racehorse owned by Dame Judi Dench and Mystic Meg.
The Oscar winner, 86, and astrologer, 78, are the unlikely partnership behind the James Eustace-trained Amsby.
The four-year-old has a best finish of second in three races – never being shorter than 7-1.

However, he only managed to finish fourth in the end.
The winner was 100-30 shot Convertible, one of four victories on the day for top jockey Ryan Moore.
Amsby was nearest to the lead at the very end and will be one to watch in upcoming races.
Dame Judi revealed the reason behind Amsby’s name when speaking to Sky Sports Racing last year.
The ‘M’ star from James Bond said: “My grandson is called Sam and he always used to spell his name Ams, the wrong way round.

Dame Judi is a huge racing fan and has boasted a Group 3 winner in Smokey Oakey.
The late horse bagged Dame Judi a cool £77,900 when winning the William Hill Lincoln at Doncaster in March 2008.
As for her current crop, Dame Judi also co-owns the Paul Nicholls-trained As De Mee, who was a fancy for the 2018 Grand National before being pulled out.
However, Amsby appears to be the only one she co-owns with Mystic Meg and Bryan Agar.
