Jeremy Clarkson has been showing off his softer side after introducing two adorable new cast members set to star in the second series of Clarkson’s Farm.

The presenter is adding some new faces to the hit Amazon Prime series, with two new critters joining him, his partner Lisa Hogan and farming expert Kaleb Cooper on the farm.

While the first series saw the presenter try his hand at raising sheep, the 61-year-old is turning his attention to cows on the new episodes.

Introducing his new herd, Jeremy posted a picture of a white cow to his Instagram page, writing: ‘World. Meet Pepper.’

He also posted a snap of a brown cow with yellow tags in its ears, writing: ‘This one needs a name.’

Fans were quick to post their suggestions, with co-star Kaleb helpfully suggesting calling it ‘Cowlub’.

Jeremy already looks to be forming a bond with the animals, saying in the new clip: ‘Say hello to Lisa. Say hello!’

Viewers followed the presenter’s journey raising sheep during the first series of the Amazon Prime Show, and it looks like Jeremy is ready for a new challenge.

It won’t be easy. He previously spoke about the harsh realities of rearing the animals after struggling to hold back tears in an emotional moment from the series.

The Grand Tour star’s latest show sees him leave behind his life in London to take over the day to day running of his 1,000 acre farm, which comes with its own host of problems.

A second season of the documentary series was recently confirmed, after Jeremy asked fans to petition for new episodes.

Clarkson’s Farm is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
