Camila Cabello leads a stellar cast in the new live action version of Cinderella, which promises to deliver a well-known love story with fun and modern twist.

The Havana singer shows off her acting chops as well as her incredible vocal talents in the first trailer from Amazon Studios.

Camila plays downtrodden Cinderella, who spends her days in the basement of her home making dresses under the label Ella, while her Stepmother (Idina Menzel) and ugly sisters lord it over her.

Meanwhile King Rowan (Pierce Brosnan) and Queen Beatrice (Minnie Driver) throw a huge ball in a bid to find a wife for Prince Robert (Nicholas Galitzine).

Thanks to her Fairy Godmother (Billy Porter) and three lovable but clumsy footmen (James Corden, Romesh Ranganathan and James Acaster) she gets to the ball, but her meeting with the prince doesn’t exactly go to plan. You know, glass slippers, midnight, that whole shebang…

Where this Cinderella differs is that our girl is torn between wanting to be a princess and live a life of luxury, and standing on her own two feet and making a go of her dressmaking business. Cinders doesn’t want to give up on her dream, but Prince Robert is just so pretty and has a phat house. What’s a girl to do?

With catchy musical numbers, gorgeous costumes, and a scene-stealing turn from Porter, this one is bound to be fun for all the family.

Cinderella is out on September 3 on Amazon Prime Video.
