Love Island USA: Josh Goldstein leaves villa with Shannon St Clair after sister’s death

Love Island USA star Josh Goldstein has left the villa after being informed of the death of his sister.

An official tweet from the CBS show reads: ‘We send our love and condolences to Josh and his family from all of us at Love Island.’

According to The Sun, Josh was woken up to be told the news by producers and then was filmed telling his fellow islanders.

He said that his sister was the reason he came on the show to find the ‘love of his life,’ Shannon St Clair, who he had asked to be his girlfriend in a previous episode.

Shannon left the villa with Josh.

Fans are heartbroken for the islander, with one writing: ‘I really hope josh is doing okay.’

‘My heart breaks for Josh, imagine receiving that news in the villa,’ another said, while one more added: ‘Sending prayers to your family josh im so sorry for your loss. my condolences.’

Another said: ‘Sending Josh and his family all the support that they could need right now.’

Love Island USA is a spin-off of the British series and was commissioned in 2018.

The third series is currently airing on CBS.
