Halsey praised for showing off post-pregnancy stretchmarks on Instagram after having baby Ender

Halsey has shared a candid shot of the stretchmarks on their stomach after having their first baby and fans are delighted to see their real post-baby body on Instagram.

The Without You star, 26, did a photodump of new snaps of their baby, including Ender’s beautifully decorated room with drawings from family and friends on the wall as well as a mushroom stool and rainbow flags.

Halsey also shared photos of Ender in a rainbow-coloured top with the little one’s pout being the only part of their face visible, as well as dad Alev Aydin rocking a matching top and planting a kiss on Ender’s cheek.

The snap that resonated the most with fans was one of Halsey with their hand on top of their stomach, with a tattoo reading ‘baby’ over their crotch.

In the photo, the stretchmarks from carrying Ender are visible under Halsey’s belly button, and fans were loving seeing a real body on the often-edited platform.

They commented: ‘Wear those tiger stripes proud mama!! Love to see it’ and ‘Thank you for posting your stretch marks!!!!!’

Others added: ‘I love love love that you posted ur cute little stretch marks. I’m 31 weeks pregnant and I keep getting paranoid I’ll get them and having to remind myself it doesn’t matter’ and ‘Finally a celebrity who shows imperfections after childbirth instead of a perfect toned body right after. You’re such a bad***!!,’ to which another added: ‘it’s because of people like her, that someday the world will see they aren’t imperfections at all.’

Halsey gave birth to Ender three weeks ago, with the child being their ‘rainbow baby’ after past miscarriages.

Halsey previously opened up about a miscarriage during their 2015 concert tour which they attributed to being overworked, telling Rolling Stone: ‘I beat myself up for it, because I think that the reason it happened is just the lifestyle I was living.

‘I wasn’t drinking. I wasn’t doing drugs. I was f**king overworked – in the hospital every couple of weeks because I was dehydrated, needing bags of IVs brought to my greenroom.

‘I was anaemic, I was fainting. My body just broke the f**k down… I want to be a mom more than I want to be a pop star.’

Halsey and Alev announced their pregnancy with a sweet photo of Halsey with a bump visible in January, simply telling their followers: ‘Surprise!’

The couple have been dating for around a year but had reportedly been friends long before they got together as a couple.

The pair even have matching tattoos which they had done in June 2020, with tattoo artist Amanda Owley revealing: ‘Today I met the sweetest two people. Ashley and Alev. You may know her better as HALSEY @iamhalsey.
