Ed Sheeran has announced a special intimate show to celebrate 10 years since the release of his debut album, +.

The singer, 30, will be performing at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on September 2 to give fans a chance to see him closer than ever in the intimate venue.

Ed’s no stranger to selling out stadiums and arenas, so the upcoming show will be a rare chance for fans to see him in the 2,000-capacity venue.

He revealed: ‘While I’ve been lucky enough to continue playing shows across the world, Shepherds Bush Empire is still really special to me.

‘When I first set out in music, one of my main goals was to one day headline SBE and my first gig there is still one of my favourite shows that I’ve played. I can’t wait to get back and celebrate 10 years of + with you.’

Tickets will be able to purchase via a ballot and Ed will perform the album in its entirety on the night, with hits including The A Team, Lego House and You Need Me, I Don’t Need You.

His debut album, +, went straight to number one when it was released in 2011, selling 102,000 copies.

Ed’s success has only continued to grow over the resulting decade, with his latest song, Bad Habits, currently being on its sixth week at the number one spot on the Official Charts.
