Avengers’ Chris Hemsworth in ‘sugary heap of joy’ after eating himself in fondant form as kids bake epic cake

Chris Hemsworth is a man on a sugar high after his kids baked him a rather legendary cake for his 38th birthday this week.
The Aussie star celebrated the big day with a massive, blue caked baked by the children he shares with wife Elsa Pataky, India, nine, and seven-year-old twin sons Tristan and Sasha, which featured a, frankly alarming, fondant figurine of Chris riding a wave on his surfboard.
Hey, to be honest, if Bake Off has taught us anything it’s that fondant celebrities are really hard to master (Sir David Attenborough still haunts our nightmares).
They added a bunch of candles to the masterpiece, as well as the amount of sprinkles only a child would find digestible.
Still, it seems Chris tucked in and devoured the thing, as he posed with the treat with a cheesy grin, as Elsa and one of their kids wielded a lighter pretty close to his barnet as they got the party started.
Chris wrote in the caption: ‘Thanks for all the birthday messages!
‘Had an epic day with the family and succeeded in devouring 75% of this awesome cake that my kids made before collapsing into a giant sugary heap of joy. Love you all ! Cheers.’
Chris’s celebrity followers chimed in with their well wishes, with Dwayne Johnson writing: ‘Happy Birthday, brotha 🤙🏾🤙🏾’
His Avengers co-star and Guardians Of The Galaxy actress Pom Klementieff wrote: ‘Happy birthday!!!’ alongside an array of sunglass and sun emoji.
Elsa posted her own tribute to Chris on his day of days, writing alongside a series of adorable snaps of the Thor star: ‘Happy birthday to my favourite husband ever.😝You mean the world to me.
‘For many more years of laughs and happiness.’
The actor wasn’t immune from a ripe birthday ribbing from his famous brothers, with Liam sharing a photo of him and their other brother Luke, instead of Chris, and writing: ‘Happy birthday @chrishemsworth.’
Luke joined in, sharing a selfie of him and Liam alongside the caption: ‘Happy birthday brother @chrishemsworth !! Love you mate will remember this trip [to] the Kimberly region for ever. So many memories together.’
Picking up what his brother was putting down, Chris replied: ‘Yeh it was so much fun, kinda felt like a dream, kinda like I wasn’t even there.’

Here’s hoping they made many more memories, actually together, this time around.
