WATCH: Roger Federer Shows Off His Uncommon Cooking Skills While Recovering From His Injury

We all know Roger Federer as probably one of the greatest sporting personalities on this planet. The manner in which he has thrilled spectators and won fans over the years is astonishing. He plays the sport in an artistic manner, which has never been showcased before.

Recently, Roger Federer was seen cooking. This is one field in which he has very little expertise. In the short video, one can see the Swiss ace trying his hand in cooking with assistance from a couple of chefs. Everyone in the clip can be seen having a joyful time.

Roger Federer and his association with food

There was another video in which Federer can be seen involved in a competition along with two other people. In that clip, all three are blindfolded and can be seen eating things. From the look of it, all of them were having a jovial time.

Coming on to tennis, Federer began his season after the Australian Open. He played his first competitive event in Doha after more than a year. He was on the sidelines as he had to undergo two knee surgeries.

After Doha, he played on the clay courts of Geneva. He suffered an opening-round exit. Later, he competed at the French Open and made it to the second week only to withdraw before his fourth-round match. He withdrew because the matches were getting intense and he was playing at the highest level without much match practice.

Roger Federer has underperformed this season

Soon after, he was seen in Halle but lost in the initial rounds. Next up at the Wimbledon Championships, he lost in the quarterfinal which according to his standards was a disappointment. He has not been seen on Tour since then and is most likely to skip the US Open 2021.

However, there has not been any official statement as yet. As a tennis fan, one does wish to see the Swiss maestro return back to what he is best known for.
