Muhammad Ali’s Grandson, Nico-Ali Walsh, Scores a Sensational TKO Win in His Pro Boxing Debut

Boxing legend, Muhammad Ali’s grandson, Nico-Ali Walsh, recently made his pro-boxing debut on Top Rank’s fight card and he bagged a gratifying round 1 T/KO win. His debut was in contention for a long time and countless lovers of the sport were eager to see him perform. That said, he stood tall to the expectations created around him and truly showed that this sport is in his genes.

Nico-Ali Walsh had a game plan in mind and he walked in with a stern mindset. With that, he put all of his skills at one go and displayed all the weapons in his artillery in the very first round.

Nobody expected him to be an oppressive fighter from the first bell itself. But showing a snippet of his legendary grandfather, the young gun vanquished his adversary, Jordan Weeks, in the very first round.

This was a 4-round middleweight contest, and Walsh carried his frame efficiently to put the fans in a frenzy. He walked ahead with his shots and landed some thrilling combinations to completely outclass his rival. Walsh couldn’t have asked for a better debut as his months of hard work paid off in style.

He was in the limelight over the past few months, for obvious reasons. And alongside that, he carried tremendous expectations from his family, friends, and follower of Muhammad Ali. He definitely has a legacy to follow and with his first fight itself the Illinois native showed he’s ready for the bigger picture ahead.

Walsh is still young and has an extensive pathway to chase. He lived up to the hype created around him but in order to go big from hereon, he’ll have to dig in deep.
