WWE boss Vince McMahon is still in phenomenal shape and his workouts are the stuff of legend.
Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, a former Olympic Gold medallist and arguably one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time, certainly knows his stuff and he’s shed some light on Vince’s epic fitness regime as the entertainment mogul approaches his 76th birthday this month.
Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show podcast, he said: ‘Sometimes at one in the morning, 1:30 in the morning Vince would call me and ask me if I’m okay, what I thought about the show that night.
‘Vince, when he gets done with the show, he wraps up the show, he gets in his limo, he goes to the hotel, and then they rent out a gym in that city and Vince works out from 2:00 to 4:00 in the morning.
‘Then he goes back to the hotel, goes to sleep from 4.30 to six, and then he wakes up again. He takes an hour and a half nap and that’s it. He’s a monster. He does that everyday.’
Wow!
You’d be forgiven for maybe assuming the pandemic could have slowed down Vince’s workout schedule, with WWE superstars off the road and the world largely coming to a standstill.
However, that’s certainly not the case as McMahon has been getting his reps in with the company’s corporate trainer at WWE HQ.

The chairman recently made his return on SmackDown when the blue brand welcomed back live crowds, and trainer Michael A. Monteforte shared a video just hours earlier showing Vince lifting some heavy weight as he put his leg strength on display.
He wrote alongside the clip: ‘The Boss Showing how it’s done… All the way down in the hole with 3 plates each side, He’s a Bad Mammerjammer! #WWE #PROPERFORM #agedoesntmatter #badbadman (sic)’
It’s not the first time Monteforte has given everyone a glimpse at McMahon in action, as he made a similar post earlier this year to reveal how he stays in tip top shape.

In one Instagram clip, Vince can be seen working out on leg day with a huge amount of weight, which Monteforte revealed was his 1RM, which is simply the maximum someone can lift for just one repetition with the right technique.
The chairman looked understandably delighted with his efforts, and in another clip his trainer revealed the extent of the workout session.
He wrote: ‘Leg Day!! We did Leg Press, & Hack Squats before doing 20 Reps with 5 plates on each side, 10 Reps with 6, 5 Reps with 7, before trying our 1RM : Total 22, 45lb. Plates (sic)’
