WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair Was Backstage at AAA TripleMania as Ric Flair Accompanied Andrade for His Match

Former Women’s  Charlotte Flair was being advertised for WWE SuperShow. However, she was inexplicably dropped from the event in her hometown, Charlotte, North Carolina. Coincidentally, on the same day, her fiance, Andrade el Idolo, appeared in a title match against AAA Mega Champions Kenny Omega.

As expected, fans and enthusiasts started speculating that Charlotte was accompanying Andrade at AAA TripleMania instead of WWE. The speculations grew more intense when WWE Hall of Famer and Flair’s father, Ric Flair accompanied Andrade to the ring during the match.

The Iconic wrestler was recently released from WWE. During the match, Flair got involved as well. However, Omega finally had the better of Andrade and won with a One-winged Angel.

Apart from this, the speculations of fans are now confirmed. Konnan confirmed that The Queen accompanied Flair and Andrade to TripleMania but decided to stay backstage.

Konna captioned the tweet with the father-daughter duo as, “classy & cool.Ric Flair is the GOAT End of discussion Thank you for tonight.” You can see it below –

What is Charlotte Flair up to in WWE?

Despite being a top player for WWE, Charlotte had to miss WrestleMania 37 due to a Covid-19 infection. She came back right after the show and challenged the new RAW Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley.

After weeks of confrontation between the two, ‘The Queen’ managed to win her record-tying fifth WWE RAW Women’s title at Money in the Bank. Unfortunately, she lost it to MITB winner Nikki A.S.H. the next day on RAW.

Charlotte will now face both Ripley and Nikki in a triple threat match at SummerSlam on Sunday. With rumors of her father joining the rival company, AEW, Charlotte had clarified she is not changing sides so soon.

“I’m WWE homegrown,” Flair Beacher Report earlier this year. “I think that’s what people forget. I’m a product of the PC (Performance Centre.”

“That would be so scary to me to leave my home, which is WWE. To know that he has traveled the world and that he’ll continue to travel the world and make a bigger name for himself, I’m so excited for him.”

Despite this, Flair and Andrade train together and constantly show their support for each other on social media. Do you think Flair could join AEW in the future? Let us know in the comments below.
