Love Island star Matthew MacNabb has shared his mocking reaction to Priya Gopaldas dubbing Brett Staniland ‘boring’ during their date.
On last night’s episode of the ITV2 programme, the boys were put in charge of serving up three-course meals for the girls, before they were all informed of a brutal dumping heading their way.
While Brett was in the kitchen preparing some food, Priya told Faye Winter and Mary Bedford that she was ‘zoning out of conversations’.
After Priya told them that she was ‘bored’, Faye admitted that she ‘could tell’, while Mary simply looked shocked.
Matt was among the viewers watching the episode, having been dumped from the island after Priya chose newcomer Brett over him during the last recoupling ceremony.
The strategic marketing consultant shared a video on his Instagram Story of himself watching the scene where Priya confesses she’s not having the best time on her date.

He then flipped his camera to self-facing mode, rolling his eyes awkwardly and pursing his lips together as the clip played in the background.
Will Priya come to the realisation that she should have stuck with Matt after forming an initial connection with him?
On Sunday night’s episode of Aftersun, Matt teared up as he spoke to the camera after his exit from the villa, saying that the ‘toughest part’ of being axed from the show was the friendships he’d made with the other islanders.
‘I choke a little on my words because saying goodbye to my fellow islanders – they’re my family in there and I love those guys, so that’s the toughest but for me,’ he said.
While speaking to Laura Whitmore live on the show afterwards, Matt explained that he was still ‘very sad’.
He added that it was ‘annoying’ that his time with Priya was cut short, saying that he felt that ‘there was a lot there’.
More: Love Island
At the end of Sunday’s episode of Love Island, it was revealed that the contestants must vote for who they think are the least compatible couple.
Whichever couple receives the most votes could be at risk of being dumped from the island.
Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and is available to watch on ITV Hub.
