BORUSSIA DORTMUND are taking on Bayern Munich as the German league and cup winners face off in the annual Super Cup.

Dortmund are the hosts of this year’s edition as they look to build on a thumping 5-2 opening day win over Frankfurt in which Erling Haaland bagged two goals and two assists.

Bayern meanwhile began their bid for a tenth straight title with a 1-1 draw at Borussia Monchengladbach.

The two sides also met in this competition last year, with Bayern running out 3-2 winners thanks to a late Joshua Kimmich strike.
