THE HILLS: New Beginnings star Heidi Montag has made her big Hollywood return after first appearing in front of cameras as Lauren Conrad’s best friend-turned-enemy back in 2006.

The mom of one has always been very open about her plastic surgery journey and how she actually regrets it now, ten years later.

Heidi first stepped in front of the cameras when she was just 20 years old and had met Lauren while attending the same university.

At the time, Heidi sported hooded eyes and a fuller face.

By this year, Heidi was a regular in The Hills where fans got to see her once very strong relationship with Lauren dissolve into nothing when she began dating Spencer Pratt.

Heidi remained looking the same, except for slimming down under Hollywood’s pressure.

2008

After falling out with Lauren, Heidi ran off and allegedly eloped with Spencer – though this has yet to be confirmed.

She also began to modify her looks as she switched up her hair to her now-staple platinum blonde.

At the time, her lips also seemed plumper and she was protecting her skin from the sun by leaving behind the tan.

2010

In 2010, Heidi shocked fans when she underwent ten surgeries in just one day, completely transforming her look.

The reality TV star revealed she got Botox, a brow lift, fillers, fat transfer, liposuction, a nose job, a boob job, a chin reduction, butt augmentation, and she had her ears pinned back.

Despite her being slammed by many for looking so different, she told PEOPLE at the time: “I think I look way better and I’m way happier.

“Nobody ages perfectly, so I plan to keep using surgery to make me as perfect as I can be.”

REGRETS

2013

Three years after her surgeries, Heidi admitted that she sometimes regretted having so many things done at once.

However, she flaunted off her curves in see-through dresses and plunging necklines.

It was also around this time that it was claimed her undergoing so many surgeries destroyed her and Spencer’s careers.

In 2017, Heidi and Spencer welcomed their first child together, a son they called Gunner.

At the time, the couple had become almost ousted from Hollywood as they were dubbed superficial and problematic.

At this time, Heidi opened up about regretting her surgeries once more and even admitted that she almost didn’t make it alive.

She admitted to Cosmopolitan that the only reason she did the ten surgeries was that she felt pressured and was the constant target of online bullying.

“I was also on TV where every perceived flaw is amplified,” she said.

“I think I looked in the mirror a little too much. I wish I had waited and not made a decision so young because I have long-term health complications.”

She urged her fans to consider the pros and cons of plastic surgery and to be careful with what they wish for as it seemingly backfired for it.

It was in 2020 that it was revealed The Hills would be coming back with Heidi being part of the cast.

Despite the many surgeries she had gotten before, at this time, Heidi seemed more than fine taking a step back from the doctor’s office.

Heidi underwent surgery once more as she revealed her struggles to get pregnant with the couple’s second child.

She was forced to speak up after a series of pap pictures had fans believing she was pregnant – but she shut the comments down immediately.
