Eminem is to make a return to acting after landing a major role in pal 50 Cent’s drama BMF (Black Mafia Family).

BMF is inspired by the true story of brothers Demetrius and Terry Flenory, also known as Big Meech and Southwest T respectively, who founded one of the notorious crime families in southwest Detroit in the 1980s.

Slim Shady will make a brief appearance as FBI informant Rick Wershe Jr – White Boy Rick.

He started out running guns and drugs as a teenager before he was arrested and sentenced to life in prison. He was eventually released on parole in June 2020.

Fiddy is excited to have his boy on board BMF, telling The Wrap in a statement: ’I’m honoured and appreciative of my good friend Em for supporting my new show BMF.

‘We couldn’t do a show based in Detroit without incorporating the legend that is Eminem.’

‘I used the same digital de aging special effects they used in The Irishman. To take @eminem back to his teenage years. 💣BOOM💨🚦Green light Gang.’
