Love Island 2021’s Mary Bedford and Aaron Francis have been dumped from the villa after a brutal public vote.

The couple received the fewest amount of votes from the public, meaning they were to leave the villa immediately, with just days to go until the final.

However, chatting after their exit, Mary and Aaron were definitely upbeat, saying they couldn’t wait to start their journey on the outside together.

‘I bagged a worldie’, Aaron laughed – and he’s not wrong.

Mary said of her romance with Aaron: ‘It’s still proper early days for us.

‘Even though it’s only been 10 days it feels like we’ve been seeing each other for months. We said we’re definitely going to give it a go on the outside. Obviously everything changes when you get out so we said we’re just going to cross each bridge as it comes to it. We’re definitely going to see each other on the outside.’

Aaron added: ‘We’ve already spoken about stuff we want to do when we’re outside. It’s exciting that we’ll be able to do normal couple stuff and form a deeper connection.’

Mary’s Love Island journey began when Toby brought her back from Casa Amor despite previously being coupled up with Abigail Rawlings.

He was shocked to see Abi had stayed loyal to him and, over the next couple of days, shocked his fellow islanders even more when he revealed he still had feelings for Chloe Burrows.

After her romance with Toby fizzled out, Mary had a fling with Dale Mehmet before Aaron entered the villa, deciding to take her on a date.

Sparks flew and the rest is history!

Mary and Aaron’s exit comes amid a ton of drama in the villa, after Faye Winter was left fuming over a vote in which the islanders were asked to vote for the least incompatible couples.

She and Teddy Soares received three votes – and eventually worked out who they were from, with the islanders confronting each other over the vote.

Meanwhile, in the preview for tomorrow night’s episode, Liberty Poole was left sobbing, seemingly considering breaking up with Jake Cornish.

The pair have been coupled up since day one and are now in a relationship – but she’s been doubting how genuine his intentions are and, in the preview, was seen saying: ‘I don’t think we’re right for each other.’

Will their romance last?

Love Island returns tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV.
