Love Island 2021 final: Toby Aromolaran asks Chloe Burrows to be his girlfriend in touching declaration of love

Love Island star Toby Aromolaran asked Chloe Burrows to be his girlfriend in tonight’s final, sending fans into a frenzy.

The pair have had a rollercoaster time of it in the villa, and have been utterly inseparable ever since reuniting after Casa Amor.

In an emotional speech for his declaration of love, the Hashtag United footballer made things official with his partner.

‘I’m not the best with words for you, Chlo, I’m willing to try,’ he began. ‘While I read this declaration of love with them piercing blue eyes watching me, I know that if I look up, I might lose all composure as those eyes fill me with nerves and excitement all in one. 

‘The first thing I want to tell you is that I’m addicted to you. I’ve been addicted to you for weeks. Our relationship is like steering a boat with no licence. If relationships are like this then I know now that there’s no need to fear. 

‘We weren’t always at this point, we had our challenges along the way. Communication was one of our main issues but looking at us now, we can’t stop talking about our feelings towards each other.

‘Which tells me, if we can conquer communication and get back on track after all we’ve been through, then any other challenge along the way will be as easy as fixing a broken bed. 

‘Right now, the only future I see is with me and you together. So Chloe, will you be my girlfriend?’ 

At those final few words, screams erupted as Chloe embraced her beau – before saying yes to her brand new boyfriend.

It wasn’t just their fellow Islanders that were living for the scenes, as fans watching from home couldn’t get over the adorable moment.

Flocking to Twitter, a viewer said: ‘What a happy and beautiful surprise of Toby asking Chloe to be his girlfriend at the end of it  #LoveIsland #LoveIslandFinale.’

‘Toby stole the show by making Chloe his girlfriend! #LoveIsland,’ another agreed.

‘I was screaming at the tv for Toby to ask Chloe to be his girlfriends he DID!!!!! #TeamChloby #LoveIsland,’ a Twitter user penned.

As one emotional fan added: ‘When Toby asked Chloe to be his girlfriend I teared up, ngl! #LoveIsland.’

Honestly same.

But will it be enough for Chloe and Toby to get crowned Love Island champions?
