Drake name drops Ayesha Curry on Certified Lover Boy and fans are in a frenzy

Ayesha Curry found her name trending on Twitter after Drake dropped his new album, Certified Lover Boy, on Friday.

The wife of NBA superstar Steph Curry was name-dropped by the rapper on his track, Race My mind, and fans could not get over the mention.

On the song, Drake could be heard spitting: ‘Post of that pic you sent me, it wasn’t recent enough/How I’m supposed to wife you if you ain’t Ayesha enough.’

Fans immediately flocked to Twitter to share their reactions as one wrote: ‘”You not Ayesha enough” is about to be the F**k boy caption of the year.’

‘How I’m supposed to wife if you not Ayesha enough. Steph got himself a keeper we already knew,’ another tweeted.

Another added: ‘When your name is trending in a good way! (Shout out to Ayesha Curry) It’s our time girls, get those captions ready!!’

‘”How I’m supposed to wife it you not Ayesha enough”- Drake This proves Steph Curry is a GOAT on and off the court,’ one fan stated.

Considering the rapper has a friendship with the Currys, it can as no surprise that Steph was supportive and showed some love to CLB on social media.

After Drake dropped the album, Steph tweeted: ‘Congrats Bro!’

Ayesha also re-posted Drake’s Instagram with the album’s information and included several clapping emojis, as well as a gold trophy emoji. 

It’s not the first time Drizzy has name-dropped the pair, and he famously called out Steph on 0-100.

He spit: ‘I been Steph Curry with the shot/Been cookin’ with the sauce, chef, curry with the pot, boy/ 360 with the wrist, boy.’

Drake also appeared to fire a few shots at his former collaborator Kanye West on the new album.

Fans are convinced Champagne Poetry, No Friends In The Industry and 7AM On Bridle Path, seemingly continue to stoke the famous beef.
