Animal Crossing: New Horizons- 3 Insane Features that Players Still Don’t Have Access To

Animal Crossing New Horizons serves as a complete reboot of the franchise. It has brought forward a range of new features, like terraforming, which have certainly added more value to the game. However, there’s still a range of features that existed in the older games but aren’t available in New Horizons. This is something that the community has been complaining about since the title’s release.

Meanwhile, Nintendo has also kept few features locked away from the community that were teased initially. However, these things were never added to the game despite the promises made in the trailers.

3 features that Nintendo won’t allow gamers to use in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The Japenese Game development studio has time and time again showcased these features. Sadly, it never came around to add them in the game, which definitely bears bad news for the fans,

The first feature that the studio simply refuses to add is the cliff modeling. In the trailers, fans saw a sharp-edged cliff but this feature still isn’t available. Gamers can only curve the cliff towards one side and not from both ends, which prevents the creation of pointy cliffs. Developers can use this feature easily, but they still refuse to add it to the game for the general population.

The second feature that Nintendo does not allow us to do revolves around trees. The Japanese studio has time and time again showcased photos of trees being planted near rivers or cliff sides. Sadly, this feature is still missing from the game that severely limits player’s ability to decorate the island.

Lastly, the third feature that Nintendo is keeping away from us is the ability to plant several trees right next to each other. This is yet another great feature that used to exist in the original but was removed permanently.

Developers can make use of this feature in their version of the title but severely limits the player’s ability to plant trees. It doesn’t seem like this feature will ever make a return to the game as the developers have never added it back with any other title.
