From the red jumpsuits worn by the heist gang members to the Dali masks they force their hostages to put on, Money Heist has become iconic as one of the most exciting TV shows of recent years.
The release date for season 5 part 1 finally arrived this week, with fans gripped as they watched the heist at the Bank of Spain continue to unfold in all its glory and misery.
The Netflix series follows The Professor (Álvaro Morte) as he brings together a group of highly skilled individuals to pull of heists that are full of massive stakes – and even bigger rewards.
The show is narrated by one of the members of the gang, Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó), a powerful member of the group and – at times – one of the most unpredictable.
While their first heist took place at the Royal Mint of Spain, they have since moved onto the Bank of Spain, their every move being watched by the police and their hordes of fans in the public.
Is season 5 the final series of Money Heist?
Much to the dismay of Money Heist fans across the globe, season five is indeed the final series of the epic crime drama.

Money Heist premiered in 2017 on Spanish TV channel Antena 3.
By the time season three came around, it was made available to watch on Netflix.
Season five of Money Heist follows the gang as they continue to try to make it out of the Bank of Spain alive in a complicated heist filled with twists and turns.
Despite suffering devastating casualties, the group soldier on, with The Professor leading the way by speaking to them through their earpieces.
While the group know how to handle themselves around weaponry and hostages, the latest episodes see them face their toughest threat yet, as the army heads to the bank.
How many episodes are there?
There are 10 episodes in total for season five, although they’ve been split into two parts.
Season five part one was released on Netflix on Friday September 3, with the five new episodes revealing what became of The Professor when he was discovered in his hideout by disgraced inspector Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri).
The next five episodes will be launched in season five part two.

When is the season 5 part 2 release date?
Having been left with a distressing cliffhanger at the end of season five part one, Money Heist fans have a whole two months to wait for the next release.
The final five episodes of the season will come out on Friday December 3, marking the end of the critically-acclaimed show.
