Is Iris and Lilly worth it?

Upon first impression, before we even received the clothes, we were impressed with the really low price – it came to less than £32 for two pairs of pyjama shorts and a night dress.

Our Amazon parcel arrived less than 24 hours after we made the order so we were already in a good mood when unpacking, but as Iris & Lilly is such an affordable range, we weren’t expecting much in terms of the quality or design.

All of our items ended up exceeding our expectations though, from the perfect sizing to the colours. Here’s what we tested:

Iris & Lilly Women’s Long Sleeve Cotton Nightdress

Amazon nightdress Iris & Lilly

  • Iris & Lilly Women’s Long Sleeve Cotton Nightdress, from £17.22 from Amazon – buy here

As soon as we tried it on, the Long Sleeve Cotton Nightdress became our favourite piece that we ordered. As we’re tall and a size 10-12, we decided to order an XL to make sure it was long enough to be a nightdress and it worked perfectly in an oversized fit.

If you want a regular fit, then we suggest ordering true to size as it naturally has a baggy silhouette, but size up to be extra cosy. It’s cut from stretch-cotton fabric, making it soft and more flexible than classic crisp cotton styles.

Plus, as it’s lightweight, you don’t feel too hot wearing it to sleep in, yet it’s still thick enough to be classed as good quality. All in all, 10/10 from us.

Iris & Lilly Women’s Flannel Check Short Pyjama Bottoms, Pack of 2

  • Iris & Lilly Women’s Flannel Check Short Pyjama Bottoms, Pack of 2, from £10.30 from Amazon – buy here

You can’t fault the price of Iris & Lilly’s Flannel Check Short Pyjama Bottoms as you get two in a pack – for medium we paid just £13.34 which equates to £6.67 per pair.

Our favourite feature of these pyjama bottoms has to be the bright colours and patterns of the print. The fabric is really soft although it’s a lot thinner than we expected which works well for warmer nights but not so well if you get cold in bed.

As a size 10-12, we ordered a medium and probably could have sized up as the legs don’t give a lot of room, made from cotton non-stretch fabric. Although the waist is elasticated which definitely takes their comfort levels up a few notches.

For the price, they’re definitely worth it as a bargain pack of trusty PJ shorts, especially if you’re needing some pronto.

Is Iris & Lilly lingerie comfortable?

Iris & Lilly have a huge range of underwear, with seven sections of bras and six types of knickers, ranging from thongs and hipsters, to briefs and boy shorts.

As we didn’t manage to review any of the lingerie, we decided to rummage through the Amazon customer reviews to decipher whether they’re worth the money. The bras generally have great feedback for their soft padding, comfy straps and stretchy fabric.

In terms of the knickers, their best-seller is the Iris & Lilly Women’s Waist Slip High Waist which boast amazing reviews for being big pants you can wear on days you want to be really comfortable – if they’re anything to go by, then their collection of knickers is definitely one to check out.
