Becky Lynch Wants to be “Bigger and Better” Than WWE Legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson

Becky Lynch is a once in a lifetime kind of a superstar. The ‘Man’ rose to the top of the WWE mountain in late 2018 and has been up there ever since. The current SmackDown Women’s Champion took a hiatus from WWE after WrestleMania 36 last year due to pregnancy.

Ever since Becky Lynch has become one of WWE’s major stars, she has always been compared to some of the biggest names in the business. Not just that, but she has also shared the ring with the who’s who such as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin and more!

Speaking of Dwayne Johnson, Becky Lynch stole his thunder when the duo shared the ring during SmackDown’s premiere on FOX in October 2019. Since then, ‘The Man’ has often been compared to the ‘People’s Champion.’

WWE Megastar Becky Lynch addresses comparisons to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson

During a latest interview with Kate Feldman of New York Daily News, Lynch addressed the rumors of her venturing into Hollywood. She revealed although she’s keen on making moves there, things were only starting. Hence, she feels it’s better to keep the details to herself as of now.

Becky also detailed how successful she wants to be, not just in the ring, but even outside of it. In fact, she even namedropped WWE Legend Dwayne ‘The Rock‘ Johnson while he detailing her path to success.

‘Big Time Becks‘ said, “I hope I can be bigger than The Rock [Dwayne Johnson] and better than The Rock. The Rock is a good friend. The Rock is a great friend. But I’m on a different path and I’m different than The Rock and I’m not trying to be the next anybody. I’m the first Becky Lynch.”

Dwayne Johnson carved a path unlike any other for himself in the world of pro wrestling and then Hollywood. While the ‘Man’ has definitely carved her path in WWE, there is still a long way till Hollywood. Although it’s not difficult to achieve what The Rock and John Cena have.

Either way, like she said, she’s the first Becky Lynch and hence, we can expect her to walk on a path no one’s ever walked on. Just like Becky took the WWE by storm, she will do the same in Hollywood whenever she makes it there.
