WATCH: Kimi Raikkonen Complains of ‘Some Sh*t’ During F1 Practice at Sochi
Following his shock retirement announcement ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix, Kimi Raikkonen missed the last two legs of the recently concluded triple-header after testing positive for Coronavirus. Alfa Romeo reserve driver Robert Kubica replaced the Finnish driver for both races.
Although, now the Iceman is recovered from the virus and is back this weekend for the Russian Grand Prix. However, during the Free Practice 2 session, the 2007 world champion reported he was still feeling discomfort from getting something in his eye during FP1.

Kimi Raikkonen informed on his radio: “I still have some s**t. I got something in my eye in the practice 1. Still something.”

Kimi Raikkonen reveals he barely watched a race during COVID-19 enforced break
The 2007 world champion, Kimi Raikkonen, missed the Dutch GP and Italian GP because of a positive coronavirus test. But now the Finnish driver is all set to return to the grid this weekend. Meanwhile, ahead of the Russian GP, the Iceman revealed he barely watched the races when he had to take an enforced break from F1.
As quoted by GPFans, when asked if he had tuned in while he was away from the grid, Kimi Raikkonen replied: “Not fully, no. I don’t remember what happened but, you know, I watched the start and some laps here or there but not the full thing.”
“I mean, obviously racing would have been nice, for sure. [There were] some interesting end results for the race, but it was what it was and I was at home so it was okay.”

“Obviously [Alfa Romeo] wished for a better end result for both of them, but that’s how it went and it is not easy [for Kubica] to come back after not driving for a long time and go in the race. They did the best they could,” concluded the veteran driver.
