Recently, Stewart-Haas Racing driver Kevin Harvick and his son Keelan spent some time together. Apparently, the two of them were tasked with interviewing each other, and the end result was sweet enough to get a sugar rush.

At one point, Harvick posed the dreaded question to every racing child – who is your favorite driver?

Naturally, young Keelan chose his father, and Harvick Sr was pretty happy to hear that. All in all, it was heartening to see Kevin Harvick in a good mood, especially after what happened at Bristol last weekend.

Now, the #4 driver will be hoping to move on from the incident and focus on the remainder of the Playoffs. What works in his favor is the fact that he is still in the running for the championship. It also helped that despite the coming together with Chase Elliott, he managed to finish 2nd behind Kyle Larson.

What to expect from Kevin Harvick this weekend?

This weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Top 12 drivers start from scratch with their points reset. So, it gives Harvick plenty of chances to redeem himself and start over. To be perfectly honest, he definitely needs a good run because he has had some struggles so far this season. Admittedly, he has come close on a number of occasions, but never quite managed to make it to the top step.

This is a far cry from last year, where he and Denny Hamlin practically traded victories. Unfortunately, none of that has happened, and the race took on another form. To be precise, the two of them were racing to see who would reach Victory Lane first. On that front, Denny Hamlin had won, because he won at Darlington, while Harvick has yet to reach that level.
