Andy Roddick responded to the comments made by Roger Federer, over the mental health concerns expressed by Naomi Osaka. He felt that the negativity of social media can often lead to players being put off by it, especially the youngsters.

Roddick responded to the comment made by Federer, saying, “Because not everyone struggles w the same things? Press was the easy part for me, but there are obviously many many many things about the actual tennis of things that Naomi does 10x better than I did. Let’s not be simple w a complex issue.”

Roddick feels that there needs to be a change in the way things are being conducted in a liberal manner. Such an incident that occurred with Osaka shouldn’t happen again in the future.
