ITV has crashed, leaving viewers frustrated across the UK.
The technical problems began at around 3.20pm, according to DownDetector.
Viewers were confronted with distorting images and garbled audio as the channel experiences technical issues.
The reasons behind the technical issues remain unexplained. However, 90% of people who reported problems had issues viewing the live channels.
Metro.co.uk has reached out to ITV for comment.
Viewers took to social media to share their frustrations, as a huge spike in outages were reported.

‘@ITV what’s up with all the itv channels? Have sound, no picture. HD channel 3 ok #itvdown,’ one said.
‘ITV has gone down so much interference no announcement to inform us why it’s happened,’ another added.
The outage led to the Freeview account on Twitter replying to one disgruntled viewer to say: ‘We are aware of issues with ITV channels just now. We do not have any more info as yet. We do recommend not retuning.’
