‘It Could End His Career’ – Dillian Whyte Reacts to Deontay Wilder’s Recent Ko Loss
Dillian Whyte recently reacted to the Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder Trilogy. Fury and Wilder met in the ring on October 9 to battle it out for the WBC heavyweight title. In front of a packed T-Mobile Arena, Fury and Wilder put up one of the best heavyweight fights in recent history. Promoters Bob Arum and Frank Warren even called it the greatest heavyweight fight of all time.
Recently now, Dillian Whyte reacted to the fight and shared his concern for Deontay Wilder. “Last time, Mark Breland, I think saved his career. This time a lot of his corner were yes-men, and they just allowed him to take too much punishment… It could end his career. We’ll have to see”

Deontay ‘The Bronze Bomber’ Wilder did take a lot of damage from ‘The Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury. However, Fury did not leave the match unscathed. After knocking the Alabama native down in the third round, Fury himself got knocked out twice in the very next round. Many thought Wilder would finish the fight after knocking Fury out twice.
However, the Gypsy King managed to hold on till the bell rang. Fury then rallied in the later rounds and upped the pressure. Fury could sense Wilder had nothing left in his gas tank and started unloading combinations at the former champion. Then finally, in the 11th round, Fury caught Wilder with a right hook and ended the fight.

What’s next for Dillian Whyte?
Just before the trilogy between Fury and Wilder, the WBC had announced that the winner of the fight would have to face the interim titleholder, Dillian Whyte. Whyte will finally get his shot at the WBC heavyweight title after becoming the interim champ back in 2019-2020, then winning it back again in March 2021.
The WBC have now officially confirmed that the winner of Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder III will be ordered to defend vs Dillian Whyte next, providing he beats Otto Wallin on Oct 30th and they can’t make an undisputed fight vs Oleksandr Usyk (who must rematch Anthony Joshua). pic.twitter.com/IJrKhUTa0K

Fury will go on a much-deserved break, but when he gets back from his break, he will have to finalize the deal with Whyte for his second title defense. Even though Whyte goes into the fight as an underdog, we can never predict things in the heavyweight division. All it takes is one punch.
Do you think Fury will be able to cruise past Whyte comfortably? Or will Whyte cause an upset?
