Dean Gaffney enjoys night out with rarely seen daughter Charlotte, 25 – but moans he has to foot the bill

DEAN Gaffney enjoyed a night out with one of his twin daughters last night – but was unimpressed when he had to foot the bill.

The 43-year-old treated Charlotte, 25, to a slap up meal and the pair posed for a smouldering selfie together.

The EastEnders legend joked with his followers: “I’m moody because I’m getting the bill (as usual), not sure why you’re moody darling daughter.”

Dean – who is best known for playing Robbie Fowler on the BBC soap – is also mum to Chloe.

The twins’ mum is Sarah Burge, who he met when he was just 15.

They dated for 22 years, but split in June 2015 – not long after Dean addressed pictures which appeared to show him looking close to another woman.

The actor has remained very close to his daughters and was delighted when he recently became a grandad after Chloe welcomed a little girl called Mimi.

Speaking about his latest role as grandpa, he told The Sun:  “I’m so proud. Lots of my mates are becoming dads, but I’m a grandad at the same age.

“The only person I know who’s in the same boat as me is Danny Dyer, who has a grandchild at 43. I’ll be calling him for tips. We could do grandaddy day care together.’”

“I’m hoping people will see me pushing a pram in the street and go, ‘Oh, is that your child?’

“Because although I’ve got grey hair, I don’t think I look like a grandad just yet.”

Talking about the moment he found out Chloe was having a child, he said: “I’m very blessed that I have a great relationship with my daughters. We try to go out once a week. They both drink and we sometimes do shots.

“On one night Chloe just said, ‘I’m sticking to water — why do you think that is?’. And then I just knew.”
