Deontay Wilder Suspended for 6 Months After Devastating Loss to Tyson Fury

Deontay Wilder suffered a defeat against Tyson Fury last weekend. The pair met each other in a mammoth trilogy fight at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas. This fight turned out to be one of the best boxing bouts of all time. Although Wilder ended up losing this bout, he still managed to stun Fury with his movements, approach, power, and defense.

Both the men exchanged a barrage of punches and they truly came out with their best game plans. ‘The Gypsy King’, however, had the edge in this fight, and he completely brutalized Wilder with his daunting approach. That said, Wilder bled excessively in this fight, and he even suffered a broke his right-hand knuckle.

Citing that, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ recently received a 6-month medical suspension to fully recover from the injuries he suffered in this fight.

Wilder started the fight well with his long and strong jabs. He set a target of attacking Fury’s body first, then turning the attention to his head. However, in round 3, Fury caught him and dropped him onto the canvas.

Many fans expected that this fight was over. However, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ had some unique plans. He counter-attacked well in the subsequent round and even dropped Fury twice on the canvas.

His success in the fight was short-lived because Fury came back from adversities to annihilate Wilder in the later rounds. With his constant assault, ‘The Gypsy King’ pressed the Alabama native, and it was in round 11 when he the Brit finished the fight with a right hook.

Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury 3 – The best heavyweight fight of 2021?

Until now, fans have witnessed some electrifying heavyweight encounters between Joshua and Usyk and Whyte and Povetkin. But none of these fights come close to Fury vs Wilder’s trilogy.
