Most Twitter fans blasted back at ‘Funky’, saying that Joe is not a journalist. Well, technically, he is a journalist. Since Joe Rogan is a commentator and an interviewer for the UFC, he falls under the category of journalism.

Joe Rogan career as a journalist
Approximately nineteen years ago, Joe Rogan began his career as a UFC commentator. Rogan, a lifelong fight fan, debuted as a commentator at UFC 37.5, which featured a light heavyweight title bout between Chuck Liddell and Vitor Belfort. Over time, he has reduced his desk appearances and has only commentated at numbered PPVs in the USA.

Alongside his UFC stint, he had a brief run on the American reality show Fear Factor. Also, at the time, he dabbled in acting and stand-up comedy. The latter is something he still does to this day.
Rogan is still one of the finest at what he does. He is one of the most knowledgeable about the MMA industry and is widely regarded as one of the greatest UFC commentators of all time.
