Stand Up To Cancer: Start time, schedule, celeb lineup, and what to expect

Stand Up To Cancer is returning to screens for another year, with a star-studded line-up joining forces to raise money for charity.

Davina McCall, Alan Carr, Adam Hills and Maya Jama have been confirmed to host the proceedings on Channel 4 this evening, while Joe Lycett is in charge of updating the amount of money raised.

There will be a string of celebrity cameos, and Gogglebox will also return for a special episode of celebrity coach potatoes ready to cast their verdict on an array of TV shows. 

Basically the dream night.

Stand Up To Cancer kicks off tonight, from 7.30pm with a fun-packed schedule keeping us entertained until the early hours of the morning, finishing off at 1:55am.

Tributes will also be paid to those fighting cancer and those who have recently been lost to the disease.

So keep the coffees coming and the tissues close.

The money raised will go towards funding life-saving research into cancer, including the development of new treatments.

More than £84million has been raked in so far in the UK, funding clinical trials and projects involving over 19,000 cancer patients across the country.

Davina, Adam, Alan and Maya will get the fun started from 7.30pm, with Celebrity Gogglebox at 8pm, and surprises from Ed Sheeran and Harry Styles also thrown into the mix.

Tom Jones will be performing from 9.30pm and The Wanted star Tom Parker will be joined by his bandmates to discuss his brain tumour battle.

The Derry Girls gang will be appearing in a sketch at 10pm before we return to the Celebrity Gogglebox special.

There will be a Stand Up To Cancer: The Final Countdown to keep us laughing as the clock hits midnight, as Big Zuu closes things off with his Late-Night Heat at 1am.

Who is in the celebrity line-up and what can we expect?

Among those who have signed up to take part are Liam Gallagher, Liam Payne, The Jonas Brothers, Usain Bolt, Olivia Colman and Stephen Mangan.

Also attending on the night will be James Blunt, Rosie Jones, Jack Black, Sigrid, David Oyelowo, Martin Freeman, Peter Crouch, Jamie Oliver, Roman Kemp and Dermot Kennedy. 

And Ed Sheeran will be putting a special comedy twist on his song Bad Habits.

Stand Up To Cancer will air tonight on Channel 4 from 7.30pm, and donations can be made at channel4.com/su2c with 100% of your donation going to Cancer Research UK in support of the Stand Up To Cancer campaign.
