Kobe has always been a part of the GOAT debate among the NBA circles. What set him apart from others was his loyalty and longevity. Kobe spent his entire career with the Lakers and won five NBA championships in the process. He stuck with the team through their ups and downs. This is something hard to find nowadays, as there are a few players who have stayed with the same franchise throughout their careers.

Stephen Curry is another player who has been with the same franchise so far. Many have credited him with revolutionizing the game of basketball by inspiring teams to focus more on three-pointers. Not just Curry and Kobe, many fans wanted Hakeem Olajuwon higher on the list, who couldn’t even make it to the top 12.
