Disney has confirmed Indiana Jones 5, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and many more Marvel films have been pushed back.
The studio has made a bunch of delays for its upcoming raft of blockbusters, with the likes of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder also impacted.
The Doctor Strange sequel has been pushed back from March 25 to May 6, while Thor: Love and Thunder moves from May 6 to July 8, which in turn delays the Black Panther sequel from July 8 until November 11.
It’s all having a knock-on effect, with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s new November release date meaning The Marvels will now drop in early 2023.
Meanwhile, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania also has a new launch plan, moving from February 17 to July 28, 2023.
And it’s not just Marvel affected by the delays, with the fifth Indiana Jones film now set to open on June 30, 2023 instead of it’s planned release on July 29, 2022.

As reported by Variety, the major reshuffle is due to production issues rather than any box office concerns, after Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings proved to be a huge success.
It’s said the upcoming Black Panther follow-up is still shooting in Atlanta, and any delays in production has a domino effect on the wider franchise.
However, fans can still look forward to Marvel’s Eternals next month, even if the aforementioned films – and several untitled Disney projects – won’t go ahead as soon as expected.
More: Marvel
There are four untitled movies across Marvel, 20th Century and Disney’s live-action arm which have been removed from the new calendar.
Meanwhile, an untitled Marvel movie is actually edging closer by a week after been moved from November 10 to November 3, 2023.
We’re sure it’ll all be worth the wait!
