Married At First Sight Australia star Jessika Power has joked about her $60,000 AUD (£32,000) plastic surgery spree, saying that she could melt if you place her too close to a candle.

The breakout star of the reality series is set to appear on the upcoming series of Big Brother VIP, aka the Aussie Big Brother, and in a trailer for the show, Jessika was asked whether she had ‘changed’.

The 28-year-old laughed before reeling off a list of cosmetic procedures, saying: ‘I’ve had some injectables done to my face… I had fat sucked outside of my thighs and injected into my boobs.

‘I’m au naturel… just don’t stick me too close to a candle – I might melt!’

It was previously reported by the Daily Telegraph that Jessika spent $13,500 (£7,200) on a fat transfer from her thighs to her breasts, $3,000 (£1,620) on Botox in her cheeks and forehead, and another $1,200 (£640) on a jaw slimming procedure.

However, the bulk of the money spent on her ‘work’ was on her veneers, which reportedly cost $40,000 (£21,000).

In the trailer, Jessika plays up her reality TV villain and temptress persona, saying: ‘I’m the face of reality TV you love to hate.’

She also dishes that she received an ‘inappropriate’ DM from cricketer Shane Warne, and says she has an interest in a married housemate.

However, over on Instagram, she said that her facade is brought down – although she wasn’t joking about being a flammability risk.

She wrote: ‘I’d like to firstly start by saying that I am NOT lying about the candle 🕯💁🏼‍♀️ But also – seriously guys this promo is full of your very typical “Jessika Power” fueled flare but unfortunately (for those that were hoping to see me do a MAFS repeat with the married men) I don’t wear my sassy mask for very long and I let it slip because, as fun as it is to watch me act like a complete lunatic on national television…it’s not who I really am when I’m at home with the people closest to me and who I trust 😓.

‘My family and friends are always encouraging me to actually show who I am to all of you. So I took this opportunity to do that – to show you all who “Jess” really is…the unfiltered, raw, authentic REAL me. And I’m not going to lie 😅 I’m freaking out.

‘I’ve kept the story about my life very private and close to my chest…until now.You all know me for being this confident, over the top, outrageously opinionated woman but what you’ll see unfold as I share more is that it’s all just an act to hide how really insecure and sensitive I am…and so that people hopefully won’t see how truly broken certain parts of my childhood and growing up has left me…

‘It’ll all be laid out and shared with all of you in @bigbrotherau hotel next month. …please be kind 😅 These walls were really hard for me to tear down in order to let you all in.’

Jessika will be joined in the Big Brother VIP hotel by Caitlyn Jenner, Meghan Markle’s estranged brother Thomas Markle Jr and former Trump advisor Omarosa.

The series was filmed earlier this year, and controversy surrounded Caitlyn flying to Australia to film the series while she was in the middle of her failed campaign for governor of California.
