Fans are eagerly awaiting the return of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, with the internet already rife with line-up rumours.

Even though there’s still a little while to wait, preparations to get Gwrych Castle ready are in full swing, with scaffolding and cranes all over the site in Abergele, north Wales.

Meanwhile Ant and Dec have sent fans wild with a video of them looking at photos of this year’s line-up (which remained off-camera), and getting very excited about who might appear as a contestant – not to mention who might be up for those infamous Bushtucker trials.

But which famous faces will be competing to earn the title of King or Queen of the Jungle, following Giovanna Fletcher’s win last year?

Metro.co.uk has rounded up some of the names currently expected to join the cast.

Who is rumoured to be in the I’m A Celeb 2021 line-up?

The full lineup is usually announced by ITV one week before the series starts.

Although the official start date is yet to be confirmed, the show usually starts in mid-November.

Last year’s cast were announced on November 8 (Picture: ITV)

This means that the 2021 cast announcement should be due in the first week of November.

Below is a roundup of the celebs that are rumoured to take part this year.

Richard Madeley

Television presenter Richard Madeley is the latest celebrity reported to enter the jungle this year.

Richard, 65, is said to have agreed to a huge contract worth an estimated £200,000 for an appearance on the ITV reality show, The Sun reports.

Good Morning Britain star Richard has previously appeared on I’m A Celebrity, having jetted out to Australia to support former contestant James Haskell, who is married to his daughter Chloe.

According to Ladbrokes, his current odds of taking part are 1/3.

Tom Daley

The whole of Great Britain got behind Tom to see him bring home huge success in the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics last month.

Tom, 27, even encouraged the nation to take up knitting and has continued to win himself millions of fans after winning gold in the 10m synchronised diving event, with Matty Lee.

Now, Tom remains one of the names floated around consistently by bookmakers ahead of this year’s I’m A Celeb.

Olympians are no strangers to taking up a spot on the show, with champion Sir Mo Farah having appeared as a campmate just last year – but could the stage now be set for Tom to take the plunge?

The diver’s odds of taking part are currently 5/2.

Liberty Poole

Liberty has been a favourite to participate on the show after winning the hearts of the nation on Love Island this summer.

The Islander’s big heart and great sense of humour would make her an ideal candidate for the ITV show.

The 22-year-old’s odds of entering the castle currently stand at 7/1.

Olivia Attwood

Libby isn’t the only Love Islander tipped to appear on the show.

Olivia Attwood, 30, coupled up with Chris Hughes in the 2017 series of the reality show and became known for her outspoken ways and hilarious quips.

It now seems viewers could be seeing her back on TV very soon as Olivia previously told RadioTimes.com she’d definitely be up for trying out the show.

She said: ‘I’d love to do the jungle, I’d give Dancing on Ice a go, although it does scare me. I’m a bit of a baby, so I don’t like getting hurt. I feel like the minute I fall over once, I’d be done.

‘I know it sounds dramatic, but I’m just a bit like that. For me, the jungle is less scary. So I’d love to do the jungle.’

The reality star’s odds of appearing on the show are currently a strong 2/1.

Jade Thirlwall

The Little Mix star has been speculated for weeks to make a surprise entry amid a string of exciting new releases for the girl band.

It comes as her two bandmates, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, are currently very busy – having both recently given birth.

Jade, 28, has previously been quizzed on whether she would be up for I’m A Celeb.

She far from ruled out a stint on the show when speaking to Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on Heart’s Breakfast show.

The singer shared: ‘I’ll try anything once me, do you know what I mean? I’ll give it a crack.

‘If something smells bad I won’t put it in my mouth, but I am good at creepy crawlies.’

Jade’s odd of mixing it up in the castle are currently 7/2.

Piers Morgan

Former GMB host Piers, 56, has been linked to the show for years, having now reportedly been declared the ‘most wanted’ star.

He added fuel to the fire by sharing a snap on Instagram of himself on the front of Woman magazine in which he could be seen donning a photoshopped cowboy hat, which pointed towards him signing up to the show.

Piers joked: ‘It’s official – I’m the new Crocodile Dundee [laughing face emoji.’

Will the former breakfast show anchor finally be persuaded to take part in the 2021 series?

His odds currently stand at 8/1.

Matt Baker

Matt Baker is already heavily linked to the show as he continues to appear on Countryfile (Picture: PA)

Former The One Show host Matt, 43, left the BBC magazine show to spend some more time with his family, after being at the helm for nearly a decade.

However, with Matt having got a Strictly Come Dancing win under his belt, he’s no stranger to a competition show, having previously hinted this could be a possible future move.

He previously told Hello!: ‘I haven’t had any conversations yet. I am reluctant to say no to anything without having a good think about it.’

According to bookmakers Ladbrokes, Matt’s currently at 4/1 odds to take part.

Sam Aston

Coronation Street veteran Sam, 28, has watched some of his closest cast members find success on the show in the past.

Jennie McAlpine, who plays his on-screen sister Fiz Brown, took part and came in at fourth place in 2017 and Andy Whyment narrowly missed out on becoming King of the Jungle in 2019.

Sam is more open than ever to the idea of signing up to the ITV wintertime series, having recently told OK!: ‘I’ve always said no to all of those shows, but then recently for some reason I’ve been more open to the idea.

‘Jennie [McAlpine] and Andy [Whyment] did the jungle and both of them said it’s the experience of a lifetime.

‘If I was offered it I would be open to the idea and open to the extra pennies!’

Sam’s odds of entering the castle this year are 5/1.

Jake Wood

Jake Wood left EastEnders earlier this year after nearly 15 years on the BBC soap and has reportedly already been ‘in talks’ with the I’m A Celeb bosses.

Speaking on GMB earlier this summer, ex-EastEnders actor Jake confirmed entering the camp could well be on the cards.

The 49-year-old actor is currently starring in the play 2:22 A Ghost Story alongside Lily Allen but confirmed this would be over in time in the case he was to get the call.

‘I’ve made no secret of that, I’d love to do the jungle,’ he previously told Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway – but will he be donning the camp gear this year?

Jake has a 3/1 chance of entering, which are some pretty decent odds for his fans out there.

Lucy Fallon

Lucy, 25, hasn’t been seen too much on-screen since leaving her role as Bethany Platt in Coronation Street last year.

She previously took part in ITV2’s Don’t Rock The Boat last year and continues to be a name put forward by bookmakers to be linked with the show.

It’s thought Lucy was previously approached by the show back in 2018 when she was still appearing on the cobbles.

Could she now be about to finally follow in the footsteps of a long line of her Coronation Street co-stars by taking up a spot on I’m A Celeb?

Her odds currently stand at 2/1.

Frankie Bridge

With husband Wayne Bridge having finished fifth in the 2016 series, The Saturdays star is now tipped to follow in his footsteps with a stint in the Welsh castle in 2021.

‘Wayne really enjoyed his time in the Australian jungle, and Frankie is looking forward to giving the show a go too,’ an insider told The Sun.

‘She is nervous about leaving Wayne and the boys for such a long time, but she is determined to give the challenge her all and really throw herself in,’ they added.

The current odds of Frankie appearing on the show are 1/4.

Adam Woodyatt

He’s been taking a break from EastEnders, but the man best known for playing Ian Beale has been linked to a spot in the Welsh castle.

According to The Sun show bosses are thrilled to have signed the 53-year-old, with an insider saying: ‘Adam was a big target for the casting team — he is a soap legend and is certain to be a huge hit with fans.

‘But they knew they might have their work cut out because he has been quite reticent to do interviews or reality TV shows in recent years.

‘When you consider how long he has been a household name, he has only agreed to a handful of TV appearances outside of Albert Square.

‘Everyone is very excited about having him on the show. He’s a brilliant addition.’

Current odds on Adam appearing on the show are 5/4.

Simon Gregson

There could be a soap showdown in Wales this November with the rumours that Corrie actor Simon Gregson, aka the show’s Steve McDonald, has signed up – and could be joining Adam Woodyatt in camp.

‘To have both Simon and Adam on this series is a real coup,’ a source told The Sun.

‘Everyone knows Simon as Steve but now they’ll get to see a completely different side of him for the first time.’

The odds of Simon appearing on the show are currently 5/4.

The latest odds for other celebrities joining the lineup are as follows:

Will Mellor – 6/4Jenny Ryan – 2/1Tom Malone Jr – 5/2Jackie Weaver – 3/1Sam Aston – 3/1Nadiya Hussain – 7/2John Barnes – 6/1
