Actress Melissa Joan Hart enjoyed a pretty magical night when she competed on Sunday’s Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.
The Sabrina The Teenage Witch star made history as she bagged $1million while squaring off against Mean Girls actress Lacey Chabert and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s Tituss Burgess.
The Clarissa Explains It All star’s million-dollar haul was the first time a celebrity won the grand prize during the primetime spin-off of the hit game show.
In fact, it’s only the fourth time in franchise history that a contestant won $1 million, with the last win taking place in September 2014.
‘It was super exciting and pretty nerve-wracking; I rarely win game shows,’ the 45-year-old told USA Today, alluding to her 1998 loss to Fred Savage in Celebrity Jeopardy.
The Drive Me Crazy star’s grand prize of $1,039,800 (£752,061) was donated to her chosen charity, Youth Villages.
She explained: ‘They serve families and children across 23 different states in every kind of level, going through foster care and aging out of foster care especially.’
Melissa, who filmed the episode earlier this year, managed to keep her historic win a total secret from everyone including the charity.

Celebrating the moment on social media after it aired, she wrote: ‘What a fun way to win an incredible amount of money for charity! Congrats @youthvillages! And thanks @celebritywheeloffortune!!
‘PS I just love the reactions in the second photo of @thereallacey and @instatituss. But I’ll never forget the look on @officialvannawhite face when I won. What a thrill!’
To win the historic prize, Melissa correctly guessed the answer to the final puzzle which was ‘bran muffins.’
She joked afterward: ‘Bran muffins. I’m gonna have to eat one tomorrow, I guess. I’m gonna buy stock in it or something.’

Speaking to USA Today, she added: ”I would like to say witchcraft was involved. But to be honest, I prayed a lot more than any kind of sorcery.
‘I literally prayed every round, especially that winning round. I’d close my eyes and say, “God, give me focus and calm and let me just read these letters.”‘
