Series 12 of The Great British Bake Off has taken fans of the heartwarming show by storm, with several of the contestants making their mark during the early stages of the competition.
One of the bakers to leave a strong impression from the get-go has been Giuseppe Dell’Anno, who was crowned Star Baker during Bread Week in the third week of the series on Channel 4.
Giuseppe has delighted judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with his culinary creations, as well as presenters Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas.
His passion for baking is always apparent, much of which is inspired by his Italian heritage.

How old is Giuseppe and is he married?

Originally from Italy, the avid baker now lives in Bristol with his wife and their three sons.
The Bake Off star’s passion for baking came from his father, a professional chef who would make a cake every Sunday during Giuseppe’s childhood.
Giuseppe ensures that his own children don’t eat anything that is mass-produced, as he prefers to make homemade treats for his sons to enjoy.
What is his job?
Giuseppe is an engineer, having worked for the National Composites Centre for eight years.
From November 2017 until July 2021, he was chief engineer at the organisation.
He now works for packaging company Sealed Air Corporation as a senior manager in research and development.

At the time of writing, Giuseppe has just under 2.5K followers on Twitter and 12.5K followers on Instagram, which will undoubtedly grow as Bake Off continues.

In early October, Giuseppe shared a sweet picture on Instagram of his three boys watching Bake Off, all still dressed in their school uniform.

‘Life doesn’t get any sweeter,’ he wrote in the caption, while other former Bake Off stars commented underneath.
‘Awwwww so so sweet!’ wrote series nine finalist Kim-Joy Hewlett, while series nine winner Rahul Mandal added: ‘Awww! How adorable are they. I wish to sit next to the telly with your sons wearing a red jumper!!’
