Zach Lavine Ties Iconic Michael Jordan Record To Etch Name in Chicago Bulls History
The Chicago Bulls have entered the regular season as the underdogs from the Eastern Conference. Some experts believe they have the potential to win it all. Concurrent to expert predictions, Lavine is becoming the next big star of the Chicago Bulls. Since Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen’s era and Derrick Rose’s prime years in Chicago, this seems like the first time that the Chicago Bulls have the potential to challenge for the ring.
And one of the key reasons experts think they have the potential to win it all is that Zach Lavine now has the right support he needs. Especially on defense which seems to be the only weakness in Zach’s game. However, on offense, Zach Lavine has made sure that the NBA knows he’s on the right track. In the game against the Pistons, Zach Lavine has tied with Michael Jordan for three-pointers made in their career.

Lavine edges closer to the Chicago Bulls Hall of Fame
Zach Lavine scored his 555th three-pointer in the game against the Detroit Pistons. This accomplishment put his name beside Michael Jordan on the all-time three-pointers made in Chicago Bulls‘ history. Entering just his eighth year in the NBA, for his entire career Zach has over 850 three-pointers made. While most are with the Bulls, some of them were also with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Therefore, in just the 5 years Lavine has spent so far in the Bulls, he has already put his name in the history books among legends. With the right support of DeRozan, Caruso, and Ball, can he go all the way with the Bulls?

Can Lavine bring success to the Bulls as Michael Jordan did?
While Lavine’s scoring output and defensive skill are nowhere close to Michael‘s, he arguably has better support on his team than Michael did. So while individually, he may never see the success that Michael saw. He might bring some championship success for the Bulls as Michael did.
