A tone-deaf singleton had his date cringing after he showed off his vocal ability and made the grand claim that Alicia Keys was his singing teacher in Sky One’s new dating series, Dating No Filter.

The new series sees some of the country’s most loved comedians sit back and watch the horrors of dating unfold from the comfort of a sofa – think Gogglebox meets First Dates. What a dreamy combo, right?

In an exclusive clip ahead of tonight’s first episode, Sami from Ipswich also left Daisy May Cooper, Susan Wokoma, Joel Dommett, Tom Lucy, Chunkz and Yung Filly completely shocked when he decided to freestyle in front of his potential partner Nicole.

The 20-year-old personal trainer was sat down with Nicole when he chose to showcase his ‘talent’ by singing: ‘I never thought I’d be in this situation/ I’m out here having a good time.’

Healthcare assistant Nicole was stunned by the whole ordeal and held her head in her hands as she burst into laughter.

This Country star Daisy also couldn’t believe her ears, and commented: ‘He has to be f***ing joking.’

‘Alicia Keys was my singing teacher,’ Sami then proceeded to tell his date.

‘That’s a lie that I would have said when I was nine,’ Susan quipped, as she watched the date.

‘Alicia Keys was your singing teacher?’ a confused Nicole replied.

‘She taught me how to sing and she did an amazing job,’ Sami insisted.

But Nicole wasn’t impressed and speaking privately to the cameras, she said: ‘Sami’s singing… that was no singing,’

‘Alicia’s brother is someone I used to play football with back in the day,’ Sami continued. ‘A good friend of mine. Craig Keys.’

Ah yes, how could we forget the notorious Craig Keys.

Dating No Filter airs tonight at 10pm on Sky One and NOW TV.
