WATCH: Novak Djokovic Pays a Surprise Visit to Serena Williams Coach Patrick Mouratoglou’s Academy in France

World No.1 Novak Djokovic has had an incredible year so far. He won three Grand Slam titles in 2021 and has lost just one match at a Grand Slam in 2021, the final of the US Open.

Novak Djokovic is not playing at the ongoing Vienna Open 2021. However, he has confirmed his presence for the Davis Cup Finals 2021 and is certain to feature at the Paris Masters and at the ATP Finals 2021 as well.

Novak Djokovic visits the Mouratoglou Academy

Djokovic recently visited one of the biggest tennis academies, The Mouratoglou Academy, in France. The Serbian star is in the country for the upcoming Paris Masters 2021. Interestingly, the academy welcomed him in style and its official Instagram page even posted a story of the World No.1 player.

“Welcoming Novak Djokovic today,” wrote the academy’s Instagram page on the caption of the post.

The Serbian legend also mentioned the academy’s story on his official Instagram handle. In the following story, one can even see him enjoying the company of a young tennis fan at the academy.

In his many previous interviews, Djokovic has hailed the Mouratoglou Academy as one of the best in the world. Thus, it must have been special for him to visit it personally.

The renowned players who have graduated from the Mouratoglou Academy

Serena Williams’ coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, is actually the founder of the Mouratoglou Academy. He has been coaching the American legend for more than nine years now.

One of the most successful players who has been a pass out of the Mouratoglou Academy is World No.3 Stefanos Tsitsipas. Another star who has made a huge name in tennis and who has also been a part of the academy is the 17-year-old young prodigy, Coco Gauff. Even Alexei Popyrin has been a student of Patrick Mouratoglou at the academy.
