Top Raw Superstar Reveals Triple H Tried His Best to Keep Him in WWE NXT Longer

Keith “Bearcat” Lee is undoubtedly one of the most fan favorite superstars in WWE at the moment. The fans have loved him from his time in the Black & Gold brand to the Red brand.

Even though, at one point, it seemed as if WWE and Keith would go on separate paths; it is certainly not the case now. However, Keith still hasn’t had the push fans want to see.

Speaking to Ryan Satin on his “Out of Character” podcast, Keith “Bearcat” Lee revealed that he could have stayed in NXT longer if Triple H had wanted him to.

He said, “I definitely could have spent more time there [NXT], without a doubt, without questions. Let’s be honest, I not long won the NXT Championship and what, maybe six weeks of time before it was ‘gotta go.’ The reality was, as I understand, the main roster had been wanting to bring me up for a while and it was Triple H trying to keep me for as long as he could.”

Bearcat continued, “Time was running out and some things are out of our hands. For me, personally, I’m always looking for another challenge so, going to the main roster, it’s like, okay, now I get to see where I really stand because I was concerned I have everything I need.”

Lee saw a random no-name person walking up with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins at Survivor Series and commanding the crowd’s support without having anything. In his opinion, he possesses all the necessary qualities. He has all he requires, and everything is at his disposal.

Lee does not believe this occurs, nor does he believe the event between him and Brock at the Royal Rumble occurs. We wouldn’t be able to hear 42,000 people going crazy for a person who had nothing, according to Lee.

Keith Lee does everything for his fans

As far as Lee is concerned, the only thing that counts is that it doesn’t matter who or what Keith Lee is. Keith Lee’s connection to the people is what matters. Whatever happens, those folks will have something to say, everywhere, at any time, and he will be eternally thankful.

Lee’s recent nickname of “Bearcat” has the fans wondering if a big push for him is imminent. If Lee could replicate his NXT success in the main roster, then there is nothing stopping him from becoming a legend in the company.
