Kaulig Racing Celebrates Halloween With Holiday-Themed Liveries for Justin Haley and Teammates

This weekend is the NASCAR Series Playoff race at the Martinsville Speedway. It is also interesting to note that the race falls on the weekend of Halloween, which is pretty rare. In order to celebrate the occasion, the Kaulig Racing team are running special liveries for two of their three drivers.

So, Justin Haley and AJ Allmendinger are competing with new paint jobs. As per teases, Allmendinger’s #16 car features a predominantly orange livery with pumpkin designs on the car’s hood. Haley’s #11 car is purple in color with an image of Frankenstein’s monster on the hood. However, it seems that Jeb Burton has not joined the Halloween wagon yet. His #10 car will still feature Nutrien AG Solutions.

It’s a race against the clock, for the clock.

What to expect from the Kaulig Racing drivers?

At the moment, Allmendinger and Haley are locked in a tight Playoff battle. Admittedly, the former is in a better position, as he is 2nd in the championship. However, Haley has to hustle a bit, as he is in fifth place and seven points away from Daniel Hemric in the Joe Gibbs Racing car.

Without a doubt, both drivers will be eager to make it to the Final 4 at Phoenix. Allmendinger could try to play the team game and get Haley into the Top 4. On the other hand, both of them could adopt an ‘every man for himself’ stance and leave Haley to his own devices.

However, one thing is for sure, they will be keen to try and stop Austin Cindric from snatching a second consecutive title.

It is also worth noting that Justin Haley is graduating to the Cup Series in 2022 with a full-time drive with Kaulig Racing. Meanwhile, AJ Allmendinger will stick with the outfit’s Xfinity squad, but Hemric will take over Haley’s vacated seat. For now, though, everyone is just focused on this weekend’s Xfinity race and the season finale next week.
