Lewis Hamilton Showers Massive Compliment on Ferrari F1 ‘Leader’ Charles Leclerc

Charles Leclerc is probably one of the best drivers on the grid right now. His progress since Ferrari has not got unnoticed by anyone and nor are his leadership skills within the team. Lewis Hamilton also praised Leclerc’s growth as a driver.

Despite not having the fastest car, he has got 2 pole positions this season. He also almost won the British Grand Prix but was passed at the end by Hamilton. But his leadership skills since the start of the 2020 season have shone through, as he has been the beacon of hope for the struggling Italian team.

It’s great to see how Charles has grown: Lewis Hamilton

As reported by Planetf1, Leclerc has put in some scintillating performances in the last 18 months and put his car in places where it does not belong. Hamilton believes the Ferrari are going to be only stronger from now on.

“It’s great to see how Charles has grown. He’s become a leader in a phenomenal team,” said Lewis.

“Of course, they have had a difficult period, but they are getting stronger. They are getting faster again and climbing up the rankings. Slowly they are catching up with the front teams.” said Lewis.

Hamilton mentioned Leclerc will only become stronger in the future and has the potential to grow even further.

“He’s still so young. He’s on a wonderful journey and he has the class to grow even further and become even stronger. Early on in his career, he has shown his potential.

His team is only going to progress, and he is growing with it. I’m looking forward to the future when hopefully we will be racing together more.” said the Mercedes driver.

Hopefully, Leclerc gets a more competitive car next season so we can see him fighting with Hamilton and Verstappen upfront. His talent deserves a race-winning car and has the caliber to win the world championship in the future.
