Piers Morgan thinks he’s found the ‘best way’ to tackle anti-vaxxers

Piers Morgan has claimed he’s found the perfect way to convince anti-vaxxers to have their Covid-19 jab.
The former Good Morning Britain star, who has been a long-time supporter of the vaccine, has once again hit out at people who have refused the jab and suggested he’s got just the solution.
He tweeted: ‘The best way to make anti-vaxxers take the covid jab is to mandate it for them NOT to have it – then they will furiously demand their freedom to have one.’
It’s not the first time he’s hit out at people over the issue, and the responses were the usual mix of people backing his stance while others urged him to let people make up their own minds.
Even with both doses of the vaccine, jabbed people are not 100% immune from catching Covid or passing it on, but they are much less likely to than someone unvaccinated with both jabs.
Earlier this month, Piers branded anti-vaxxers ‘selfish pr*cks’ as he made sure not to hold back.
‘He wrote: ‘I’ve got no problem with those refusing to have the covid vaccines, so long as they have no problem with history recording them as selfish prcks who only cared about themselves in a global pandemic.’
Of course, the outspoken journalist hasn’t held back at all when it comes to those refusing to get the jab, and he previously suggested they should be ‘thrown in a cave’.
Ahead of the country’s ‘Freedom Day’, in which lockdown restrictions were lifted earlier this year, Piers said at the time: ‘I’ve supported lockdowns as the only way to suppress covid without efficient testing systems or vaccines.
‘But now we have both, fully vaccinated people should get their freedom back again from July 19.’
After he was questioned by a follower about what happens to those who haven’t received their full Covid vaccination, musing whether ‘we throw them in a cave or something’, Piers replied: ‘Those with legitimate medical reasons not to be jabbed must continue to take care, and be given due care.
‘Anti-vaxxers can be thrown in a cave, yes.’
More: Coronavirus
Piers also previously suggested those who refuse the vaccine should be denied NHS care if they contract Covid.
He wrote: ‘Those who refuse to be vaccinated, with no medical reason not to, should be refused NHS care if they then catch covid.
‘I’m hearing of anti-vaxxers using up ICU beds in London at vast expense to the taxpayer. Let them pay for their own stupidity & selfishness.’
